Holland Township Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Assault and Resisting and Obstructing Police

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- A Holland Township man was in Holland District Court on Friday where he pleaded guilty to attempted assault and resisting and obstructing police.  19-year-old Steven Darwin Boeve has been in the Ottawa County Jail since July 13^th after being arrested by Holland Public Safety officers.  Police responded to the area of Central Avenue and 16^th Street in the early hours of July 13^th.  When they arrived on scene, Boeve and his accomplice, Gregory Lambers led police on a chase eastbound on 16^th Street that ended with their car crashing into a motor home in the lot of Holland Motor Homes, just east of U.S. 31.  Boeve is being held on a 15-thousand dollar bond and is set for sentencing on September 10^th.
