HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - A glimpse of Holland’s “mother country” can be seen in City Hall tonight. Dr. Peter Ester, a professor at Rotterdam University and a Senator in the Dutch Parliament, will give a two-hour lecture and answer questions about his country, his government and other issues, according to Holland Mayor Kurt Dykstra. Dr. Ester is touring the country as a guest of the Netherland-America Foundation. Hope College’s Van Raalte Institute, the Dutch Heritage Coordinating Council and Mayor Dykstra’s office are also sponsoring tonight’s free event, which begins in Council Chambers at 7 PM.
