HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices have come down along the Lakeshore, but if you go a little ways to the east, it’s even cheaper.
This morning’s weekly survey of Holland’s area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.31. That’s 18 cents less than last Friday, and was near the $3.29 level seen during the weekend before Christmas. As was the case this past fall, an imaginary line apparently emerged between Zeeland and Hudsonville, for rates east of that line were markedly lower at $3.17 around Hudsonville and a penny less in Jenison. The greater Tulip City area’s mean was $3.33.
Triple-A’s daily canvassing had marks of $3.33 nationally and $3.35 statewide, up a nickel and three cents, respectively, over the past seven days.
