HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - After postponing last week’s scheduled meeting due to the weather, the Holland BPW Board convenes this afternoon to go over a variety of issues. The panel will be asked to endorse hikes in water and sewer charges to pay for “increases reflecting actual construction costs to be effective in 2014,” along with approving more Offers of Just Compensation involving property at the site of the proposed new power plant on Fairbanks Avenue and 5th Street in Holland. City Council will have the final say on any rate hikes next Wednesday.
