HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- Two non-fiction novelists will speak at Hope College later this week. The Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series will feature two authors on Thursday. Benjamin Busch, a decorated Marine is the author of “Dust to Dust,” a memoir that details his life from growing up on a farm to serving two tours of duty in Iraq. The second speaker is Ismet Prcic. His novel, “Shards,” has won critical acclaim for its in flinching portrait of violence and refugee plight. Prcic was born in Bosnia and fled the Balkan conflict in 1996. The Writers Series event is scheduled for Thursday, January 30th at 7 P.M. in Winants Auditorium at Graves Hall.
