UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Macatawa Area Express released their annual report and it shows ridership is on the increase. Figures in the report show that the amount of people taking the bus increased more than four percent, from more 451-thousand in 2012 to almost 471-thousand in 2013. The biggest increase came in the number of people using the “Night Owl” service, which grew from 23-hundred riders in 2012 to more than 31-hundred in 2013. The MAX total expenses increased 3.5 percent from 2012 to 2013.
