LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Jody Vanderwel of Holland, president of investment group Grand Angels LLC, has been named to a four-year term on the Michigan Strategic Fund board of directors by Governor Snyder. The panel has broad authority to promote economic development and create jobs across the state, and Vanderwel brings nine years of experience in her current position, as well as board membership in two state investment group associations. The Senate must concur with the Governor's appointment before Vanderwel joins the MSF Board, which is expected to be a formality.
