HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- The Holland Parks and Recreation Commission held their monthly meeting this afternoon. New business included changing the expiration date for Farmers Market Subcommittee representatives. Old and ongoing business includes the 5 Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan. It includes ways to improve Kollen Park, Windmill Island Gardens and the Holland Civic Center. Manager Jeremy Myers said there are some cosmetic needs he’d like to address, saying heating, ventilation and the electrical system could all use some updating. Public comment is always welcome as to what improvements could be made to any of the city’s parks or recreation facilities.
