HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The West Michigan Airport Authority may expand by two municipalities if voters in both Holland and Zeeland townships approve millage questions on the May 7th ballot. The boards of those two communities passed resolutions requesting admission into the board that oversees operations at West Michigan Regional Airport. Business leaders in the two townships had petitioned their leaders to consider joining the WMAA, which was formed five years ago. If voters concur with the one-tenth of a mill request, the authority will then include the cities of Holland and Zeeland, along with the townships of Park, Holland and Zeeland.
