ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC) - The waters of the Grand River continue to be above the flood stage in Robinson Township at around 15 feet, with fears that this snowfall and warmer temperatures could spread the situation farther upstream. An ice dam created east of the US-31 drawbridge last week led to the recent flooding situation, and Ottawa County Emergency Management Director Beth Thomas says that empty sand bags will be available for homeowners in the stricken area. The Flood Warning for the area remains in effect through Monday afternoon.
