ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - An unnamed 23-year-old Plainwell man is in the Allegan County Jail, awaiting arraignment on child abuse charges stemming from an incident in December involving his two-month-old daughter. Doctors at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo alerted state police detectives after the victim was admitted with multiple injuries, including head wounds. The child is recovering from her ailments in foster care.
