OTTAWA COUNTY, MI (WHTC) -- The Ottawa County Department of Public Health is reporting numerous cases of gastrointestinal illness from residents. The health department notified Wild Chef Japanese Steakhouse Grill and Bar on Tuesday of the problem and the restaurant shut down voluntarily. A full inspection of the restaurant has been done and the investigation is still in process. O-C-D-P-H is ensuring that proper disinfecting procedures are completed before scheduling a re-open date. At this time, no other dining establishments have been identified as having an outbreak.
