
UNDATED (WHTC) -- A three vehicle accident early this afternoon sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries. The accident happened at 96th Ave. at Quincy St. in Zeeland just after noon. The driver of the first vehicle, 72-year-old Duane Moore of Allegan, was northbound on 96th Ave. when he failed to stop at the intersection hitting a second vehicle driven by 22-year-old Jennie Morris of Hudsonville. Sgt. Steve Austin reports that a third vehicle, driven by 69-year-old Craig Buter in the southbound lanes of 96th, was also involved in the accident. Buter received minor injuries and did not go to the hospital. Two passengers in the first vehicle, 62-year-old Diane Moore and 67-year0old Nancy Brauer, both of Allegan, received serious injuries in the accident. Ms. Moore also went to the hospital with serious injuries. Duane Moore was cited for disregarding a traffic control device, being the STOP sign.
