UNDATED (WHTC) -- A group of Holland Township residents had their hopes of stopping the construction of a truck stop on Adams St. dashed as Circuit Judge Jon Van Allsburg ruled this afternoon that they did not have the legal standing to pursue the case. The judge granted a motion requested by the Township and Love’s Travel and Country Store to throw out a suit filed by One by One. The group represented 171 residents who do not want a truck stop built on Adams St. just off of I-196. Van Allsburg ruled that the truck stop opponents did not present “any evidence of specific dangers.” Love’s said it hopes to open the new stop by October of 2015.
