ALLENDALE, MI (WHTC) - A 25-year-old Ravenna woman suffered critical injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Allendale last night. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chris Koster, Samantha MacKeller was driving westbound on Bass Drive near 92nd Avenue when her car drifted off to the right. She apparently overcorrected and veered into the path of an eastbound SUV, with the force of the collision causing her vehicle to roll over onto the side of the roadway. MacKeller was extricated by rescue workers and flown to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital for treatment. The other driver, 19-year-old Britleigh Strunk of Allendale, suffered non-life threatening injuries, but was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth in serious condition. The crash remains under investigation.
