UNDATED (WHTC) -- The Ebola virus is in the headlines as the first case in the United States was discovered earlier this week in Dallas. Closer to home, the Michigan Dept. of Community Health is already taking steps and gathering information to protect Michiganders from the virus. Angela Minicucci says the Dept. is updated by the CDC on a regular basis.
Symptoms of Ebola include: a fever of more than 105, severe headaches and muscle pain. The virus is spread only through direct contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person.
