COVERT, MI (WHTC) - Preliminary results from a three-day training exercise earlier this week, by first responders and emergency personnel from Allegan, Van Buren and Berrien counties, held at the Palisades nuclear power plant near Covert, were disclosed yesterday. Federal Emergency Management Agency officials say that they were impressed with the locals’ response from a simulated attack at the facility.
