COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC) - An 18-year-old Ravenna man suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash west of Coopersville yesterday afternoon. Jordan Kuperus apparently drove his car through a stop sign while southbound on 80th Avenue at State Road and was broadsided by a westbound automobile. The seat belt apparently broke off in the collision, causing him to be thrown from the vehicle. Kuperus was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital for treatment; the other driver, 70-year-old Roger Holman of Nunica, was unhurt. The crash remains under investigation.
