UNDATED (WHTC) -- The 27-year-old suspect in a Holland Township stabbing is lodged in the Ottawa County Jail. Capt. Mark Bennett, of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Dept., said the charges against the man include:assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than muder and being a habitual offender, second notice.
The stabbing took place at an address on James Gate Court early Sunday, Nov. 23rd. The victim was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover from his injuries. Arraignment for the male suspect should take place on Monday. The initial bond has been set at $250-thousand and the suspect’s name will not be released until after the arraignment.
