HOLLAND (WHTC) - A 28-year-old Holland man will stand trial on charges he had sex with a 14-year-old runaway. Matthew Mahaney waived his preliminary hearing this week in 58th District Court on a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, and was bound over to the Ottawa County Circuit Court. Mahaney was arrested earlier this month at the Wooden Shoe Motel, where he and the girl were found. He was also wanted on several outstanding charges, including domestic violence. Mahaney remains held on $20,000 bond in the Ottawa County jail.
