PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) – Authorities say two drivers allegedly involved in a fatal accident early on Sunday morning that killed a 24-year-old Holland Township man are in custody. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies, Joshua Owens was crossing Ottawa Beach Road near 152nd Avenue around 1 AM, apparently to use an ATM machine, when he was struck. One of the two vehicles involved stopped briefly, but then drove off before deputies arrived, while the other vehicle didn’t stop. Witnesses say that the vehicles involved are a dark blue BPW, late 1990’s vintage, with a broken off driver’s side mirror, and the other was a light-colored Audi, early 2000’s vintage. Tips led authorities to the two unnamed drivers later on Sunday morning, and they were held in the Ottawa County Jail pending an arraignment in Holland District Court, which is expected on Monday.
