HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) - A three-vehicle pileup on Holland’s North Side injured three 19-year-old Zeeland women yesterday afternoon. The right foot of 56-year-old Kurt Williams of Holland apparently slipped off of the brake and onto the accelerator as he was slowing for a pickup that was turning ahead of him on Douglas Avenue near Analine Avenue; his car rear-ended the truck, pushing it into a car going into the opposite direction and sending its driver Leah Samuels, along with passengers Renae Baron and Rachel Lawton, to Spectrum-Zeeland Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Williams and the other driver involved, 42-year-old Matthew Wanrooy of Holland Township, were not hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
