HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The city of Holland has made two new hires to replace retired Community/Human Relations Coordinator, Al Serrano. City Manager Ryan Cotton says a job that belonged to one person has been made into two. After some reorganization, it was decided that two individuals would be able to focus on their specific duties. Wednesday night a reception was held for Nardy Bickel, who will become the International Relations Commission Coordinator. Thursday evening, it was the Human Relations Commission Coordinator’s turn. Leroy Hernandez will take over his position on June 10th. He brings a lot of experience to the job. The receptions were held to give city officials and the public the opportunity to meet the new coordinators.
