ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, MI (WHTC) - An Allendale Township man is dead after an accident at his home on Wednesday evening. Fifty-three-year-old Jeff Stroben was doing maintenance at his home on Warner St. When the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department and Allendale Fire Rescue arrived on scene, they found Stroben pinned against the home by a tractor. Lt Steve Kempker says Stroben was on the forklift on the tractor when things went wrong. Stroben was transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital. The Kent County Medical Examiner later pronounced him dead. The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
