KALAMAZOO, MI (WHTC) - A year in prison and 168 thousand dollars in restitution was the sentence handed down yesterday to former Rock-Tenn Paper Mill owner Anthony Davis for violating the federal Clean Air Act. The 34-year-old suburban Detroit man had pleaded guilty for failing to obtain a thorough inspection before stripping out asbestos-wrapped pipes from the powerhouse in Otsego. Davis lost ownership of the site due to foreclosure.
