
UNDATED (WHTC) -- If it’s time to renew your insurance or maybe change to a different insurance company, the state of Michigan wants to help. The 2013 Guides to Automobile and Homeowners Insurance were released Friday by the Department of Insurance and Financial Services. It provides information you can use to effectively shop for and compare insurance coverages. The guides provide tips on how to reduce premiums as well as information on the types of coverage available. D-I-F-S Director Kevin Clinton says, “Consumers who are renewing or purchasing insurance for the first time, should not assume that the first quote they receive is the best price they can get.
