
WAYLAND, MI (WHTC) - An all-terrain vehicle crash southeast of Wayland has left four injured, one of them critically. Allegan County Sheriff’s Deputies responding to the incident off of 4th Street and 129th Avenue say two adults and two children were on board the four-wheeler just after 12 Midnight yesterday morning when the operator lost control and hit a tree. None of them were helmeted. The most seriously injured was flown by Aeromed to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital; the other three were also hospitalized but are expected to recover. No names were immediately disclosed. Investigators don’t believe at this point that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
