UNDATED (WHTC) -- Today will be a happy day for seniors graduating from West Ottawa High School but there will be a somber note as they remember a fallen classmate. Jose Moreno drowned when he and a friend jumped off of the Holland State Park on Wednesday, May 21st. The friend was able to scramble back to the pier, but Moreno went under. Divers using a small robot equipped with sonar, lights and cameras spotted the victim around 8 PM and rushed him to Holland Hospital, where attempts to revive him failed.
