HOLLAND (WHTC) - If this past spring is any indication, Bill Engvall has a tough act to follow.
The standup comedian with a lengthy television resume that includes costarring on shows with Delta Burke and Jeff Foxworthy was unveiled during last night’s Running of the Bulbs event as the featured entertainer for the 86th Tulip Time Festival, performing a single show at Central Wesleyan Auditorium on May 8th. It’s the second straight year that Tulip Time has had a comic in the spotlight following two sold-out shows last spring with Bill Cosby.
Other acts coming to Tulip Time include the return of a touring Second City comedy team, Fiddle Fire and the New Odyssey dinner musical program, along with the Bretts variety show direct from Branson, and illusionist Jay Mattioli. Tickets go on sale through the festival office and online (www.tuliptime.com) next month; Holland’s annual signature event runs from May 2nd through the 9th.
