LUDINGTON, MI (WHTC) - A 21-year-old Allegan County man is behind bars after escaping from the Mason County courthouse following his sentencing on Wednesday. Dylan Hansen of Martin was given 292 days in jail for violating his probation stemming from a previous domestic violence conviction. Ludington Police say he managed to flee after being sentenced, but surrendered peacefully yesterday after a tip led deputies to a Baldwin residence in neighboring Lake County . Hansen is expected to face additional contempt of court charges stemming from this incident.
