HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The Holland City Council last night endorsed a 20 million-dollar bond proposal to improve the Holland Area Wastewater Treatment Plant. Construction on a 24 million-dollar project, on land across from the facility off of River Avenue, should begin next spring and take a year to complete. The Holland Township board considers the matter during this evening’s meeting. The deal had been OK’d by Zeeland Township trustees on Tuesday, and both Park and Laketown Townships need to approve it.
