HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) - A 61-year-old Zeeland man was hospitalized after his vehicle was rear-ended at an intersection on Holland’s North Side yesterday afternoon. Gary Vollink was treated for minor injuries at Holland Hospital following the collision on 120th Avenue at James Street. According to Sheriff’s deputies, 45-year-old Luis Garcia-Delarosa of Holland was going into the left turn lane when he skidded into Vollink’s vehicle; he was not hurt. A wintry mix of rain and snow was falling at the time and may have contributed to the crash.
