UNDATED (WHTC) -- An elderly Holland couple is doing ok after their vehicle was hit by a driver pulling out onto southbound River Ave. near VanderVeen Ave. early Saturday evening at around 6:15. Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Christie Wendt said that 43-year-old John Grimaldo of Holland caused the accident.
Virginia Keifer, a 93-year-old Holland woman, received minor injuries to her leg and was taken to Holland Hospital. Her husband, 100-year-old Kenneth Keifer, was in the passenger seat and was not injured. Grimaldo was not injured in the accident.
